Letter: I saw what you did

Editor, Gazette-Journal:
I heard the siren—then saw the emergency lights as the ambulance was making its way to the intersection with its air horn blaring—the traffic light turned green and, to my shock, you sped through the intersection, almost causing the ambulance to come to a stop. Shameful!
Every second can count when emergency vehicles are responding to a call. Would you have made a different choice if that was your loved one on the other end of the 911 call? Two minutes is all it takes for a traffic light to cycle.
Don’t be that person. Our next generation is watching and learning. Be the example.
