I would just like to add my voice and my support for Les Hall, running for Commissioner of the Revenue. Les has provided accounting and tax services for my business since 1991. I have no question of his honesty and his dependability. In the years that I have known Les, I have had the opportunity to observe him as a dedicated husband, involved father of three boys and have seen his unselfish contributions to Mathews County.

He has worked as a Boy Scout troop leader, and has served on the Laurel Shelter board. For 12 years, Les was a Mathews County School Board member and became the chairman of that school board. The significance of this is that during Les’s time, the Mathews County school system was just wrapping up some of the most significant changes in its facilities, curriculum and personnel.
