Letter: Hair on fire

Editor, Gazette-Journal:
So those of us who are Dems have our hair on fire over Elon Musk’s “examination of the waste and fraud in government.” You are darn right, our hair is on fire. Not by the election of Trump. We are not happy he was elected, but our major issues surround the unconstitutional manner in which things are happening.
Trump is the duly elected president of the United States who took the oath of office swearing to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” If he lived up to his oath and does things in the proper order and proper channels, we would not like it but we would respect that he was honoring his oath. However, he has thrown out any pretense of adherence to the Constitution he pledged to protect and uphold. By placing Musk in charge of overhauling the government with zero oversight from Congress, no proper clearances, and clear conflicts of interest costing us, the taxpayer, billions of dollars is what sets our hair on fire.
