I met Jack Gill 13 years ago when I moved to Mathews County to become the Director of Planning and Zoning. Jack immediately impressed me with his friendliness, knowledge and quick wit. The following eight years Jack prosecuted my zoning violation cases. From this experience I found Jack to be competent, honest, fair and impartial.
Jack has a deep caring for Mathews County, as evidenced by his involvement in many community activities. Jack, an Eagle Scout, is the Advancement Chairman and Merit Badge Counselor for the Mathews Boy Scout Troop. Jack spent many hours preparing the Scouts for mock trials. Jack has been quite the role model for the boys in the troop.
