Our nation’s future is in today’s children. What do they know now and where will they go? The election of local public school boards still offers an opportunity to end the successfully guided direction into the communist agenda (thank you, Saul Alinsky), active since WWII. In school board meetings, the majority vote determines decisions and directions.
So, where do you want our nation to go? Vote accordingly. Test the candidates at forums, whether you have children or not. Don’t settle for happy talk. Do your homework and follow the support money.
Elected to the Mathews School Board in last year’s special short-term election, Dr. Mari Gibbs must run again for the new open four-year term in November. She understood that the best way to learn the actual concerns of the parents, children and teachers was to be present at the schools during the day, volunteering for assorted opportunities and building relationships.
