I spent 16 years on the Gloucester County School Board as the Ware District representative and had the privilege and pleasure of interacting with Cindy Saulman while on the school board and afterwards. Cindy truly desired and enjoyed being the DARE officer; she exuded the love of children and worked with them with sincerity and a smile. She has been in the classroom and has seen firsthand the school environment of most of the school buildings. Cindy has a perspective that may be more knowledgeable than that of some of the current school board members.
I am knowledgeable of what is involved to be a productive board member. During my term we had various viewpoints from conservative to liberal, with some topics being extremely heated. It takes seven individuals elected by the people of Gloucester to put aside personal differences to work together in the best interest of the children of Gloucester County.
