I write this letter in support of Dr. Robert “JJ” Orth’s candidacy for Supervisor, Abingdon District, Gloucester County. Dr. Orth has been an important member of the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors since 2011. During this time he has advocated for attracting small businesses, a balance of smart growth and a rural atmosphere, having a balanced budget that supports effective and efficient government services, a strong school system, the fire and rescue squads, opportunities for recreational activities for youth and adults, and protection of our environment, especially the Chesapeake Bay and our local waters.
Orth’s agenda provides a clear vision for the future of the “Land of the Life Worth Living.”
