Letter: Fiscal responsibility

Editor, Gazette-Journal:
Fifteen million dollars for one fire station is a huge amount for Gloucester County taxpayers to bear. An independent professional study should focus on what Gloucester needs in the near and far term to provide emergency support for all citizens. It should not focus on one building in one area of the county. The Board of Supervisors should be fiscally responsible and require an assessment of the entire county’s needs to adequately protect its citizens.
