Editor, Gazette-Journal:I realize these are crazy times we live in, but I gotta try to hold your feet to your own GJ fire on this one.So, I am pleased to read in the Oct. 10 GJ issue, that one of your “letter to the editor” standard guidelines that profoundly proclaims, “we do not accept letters that are primarily broad endorsements or attacks on political candidates or parties.” I salute this fine and excellent rule. Unfortunately, I then find the subject matter of 14 of the 15 letters you chose to publish in this same issue to be “primarily broad endorsements or attacks on political candidates or parties.”C’mon man, I am exhausted.And kudos to Scotty, letter #15.Chuck BridgesNorth, Va.
