Former President Trump called the protests in Charlottesville “a beautiful thing” and the January 6th insurrection “a beautiful day.” More recently he cited the protests on the Columbia University campus saying, “The police came in. It was a beautiful thing to watch.”
He was cited in Time magazine saying he would call the National Guard to quell protests if they were happening on his watch. Just wondering why anyone would vote for someone who thinks like this. He certainly didn’t act to quell the very violent protests on January 6th. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
