I would like to express my appreciation to all the candidates who ran in the last election. I consider it admirable that they took the time, energy, fortitude and resources to show how much they care about Mathews County. Not everyone can win. God and Mathews County citizens made their choice. May God guide these elected officials in serving this wonderful county.
