Editor, Gazette-Journal:
This letter is going out to all my friends of color. The election to determine who will run our county government is coming up soon. Our responsibility is to determine who is best suited to accomplish this task.
We are all aware of the attempt to have Ms. Mason removed from the ballot. I feel like she deserves to be on that ballot. Intimidation by a certain self-appointed group forced her to drop out. Remember the wolf in sheep’s clothing and we’ve all seen the green snake posters strategically placed around the county.
One does not need to be a genius to figure out what’s happening. They need her block of votes and know they can’t win without them. Some liberal individuals, masquerading as conservatives, have been traveling around the county, meeting with the hunt clubs and being untruthful concerning where they stand on issues.
They will do anything, and I mean anything, to steal this election. Let’s go out and rain on their campaign.
