I am blessed to have been supported and trusted for three terms as the sheriff of Mathews County. Most of the goals I set to best provide for the safety and protection of our citizens have been accomplished. We have moved the office forward in technology, equipment, and training. We have been proactive in addressing matters of public safety and thoroughly investigating all reported crimes. Mathews has one of the lowest crime rates in the state. With all the problems we do have, Mathews is a good and safe place to live.
As your sheriff, I make decisions that impact the office and the community we serve. I must place staff in positions which they are most suited to best serve the community.
