Citizens of Gloucester are privileged to have a seasoned and well-trained candidate running for the school board. Fred Brewer has lived in Gloucester with his wife Alicia since 2019. They moved from Hampton where they resided for 31 years, raising four children who have gone on to be successful in their respective career choices. He has two grandchildren who will soon be attending Gloucester County Public Schools.
While in Hampton, Fred served on the Hampton School Board for 12 years, from 2000 to 2012, including serving as chairman for five years. That is where I worked with Fred as the School Board Attorney for the City of Hampton. I took the position after serving here in Gloucester as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney, Assistant County Attorney and Interim County Attorney. Fred is truly dedicated to the parents, students and school personnel he serves.
