The Ohio media is exploding with denunciations of the Trump/Vance lies about Haitian-born Springfielders abducting and eating pets.
Ray Marcano, former president of the Society of Professional Journalists, wrote in The Columbus Dispatch on Sept. 15 that Ohio Senator J.D. Vance and Donald Trump have spent the last week spreading “bold-face lies that pet-eating Haitians are roaming the streets of Springfield” looking to steal dogs or cats.
The Cincinnati Enquirer quoted Vance on Sept. 15, “If I have to create stories (a.k.a. lies) so that the American people actually pays attention to the suffering of the American … that’s what I am going to do.”
