Saturday, June 15 was the Blue Grass Festival at the Gloucester Moose Lodge. We were raising money for the children’s hospital.
I was out there, having such a blast, listening to good music as I sold pens and keychains that I made with beads. I also met two new brothers of Christ who play in bands, Isaac and Josh. They were awesome, and I really enjoyed singing with them the hymn “Shall We Gather at the River.”
My mom was helping out with the sales of pens and keychains. By the end of the day, before going home, I had every band member sign my “Jesus Loves Me” hat that I designed to wear.
Thank you to the ones that hosted the event. Also, thank God for the most blessed day, because if it wasn’t for him, we would not have done that special event.
