Massive and indiscriminate cuts are being made to the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Education, Social Security, the Environmental Protection Agency, the FBI, the Justice Department, and the Department of Agriculture, to name just a few.
Tens of thousands of federal workers are being fired without cause, all so Trump can extend his massive tax cuts for the rich.
Taking a chainsaw to the federal bureaucracy will have a negative impact on just about everyone; small farmers will lose federal grants they were counting on, school children won’t be able to count on even one balanced meal a day, the nation’s security will be compromised and veterans will lose services they desperately need after fighting for our country, all so a draft-dodging president can help his billionaire friends.
