Letter: Andersen for Gloucester School Board

Editor, Gazette Journal:
I’ve had the distinct pleasure observing Troy Andersen serve as a school board member, vice chair and board chair. Troy has spent most of his life in Gloucester, is dedicated to the community and will not sacrifice the needs of our children to serve the needs of any political party. Political endgames will not serve our school division and Troy has the courage to stand up to those who would push personal agendas and grandstanding political talking points. Mr. Andersen has attended both community (non-partisan) candidate forums. As the parent of three, he provides a true “parent voice” on the board.
Troy exemplified grace under pressure when some board and community members attacked his character and leadership. Troy has stood strong, kept his composure, and demonstrated exceptional leadership while attacked.
