President Biden recently announced “fulfilling his duties as president,” i.e., to January 2025. Knowledgeable and basically honest voters in 2020 feared Biden leaving Kamala Harris in charge if he had an early departure.
If that happened now, KH would be finishing out Biden’s term as POTUS before the November elections.
With all the reasons we know, such as border control; nuclear power; China; Ukraine; Hamas/Israel; as well as social issues such as men in women’s sports; transgender teens changing their genitals before adulthood; LBTQ+ etc., that “commander in chief” is far above her pay grade. Her demonstrated lack of diplomacy and experience would most certainly lack leadership in those critical areas and essentially hand Trump the presidency.
