Letter: A ‘make or break’ decision

Editor, Gazette-Journal:
Friends, we face a “make or break” decision. Our ongoing experiment in representative government is in peril. If you don’t believe that, you haven’t been paying attention.
This election is not about bragging rights. The American dream is slipping away, and “the powers that be” are standing in the wings applauding. They believe We the People will not challenge them.
Be honest. Did you ever think you would witness:
—Erasure of our Southern border
—Entry of 30 million illegals, from 100+ countries—including 30,000 Chinese nationals. Note: Only 19 terrorists toppled the Twin Towers, crippled our economy and sent our leaders into bunkers.
—A $35 trillion deficit, 3.5 years of record inflation, with free housing, food, and health care for millions of non-citizens. The solution? Social Security and Medicare for all and cancellation of student debt. It’s only money!
—Police and military recruitment at all-time lows.
—Voting rights for non-citizens. Where else in the wo...
