Letter: A great restaurant and a touching story

Sometimes you find a great restaurant, hear a touching story and just feel like telling someone: This is one of those stories.
My name is Carol Manglos-Foster, and my husband David and I are innkeepers at Foster’s Bethel Beach Inn in beautiful Mathews, Virginia. For such a small town, we are always amazed at the restaurant choices we have here—excellent choices.
One of our most frequent stops is a place right down on Main Street called “Mathews Grill and Deli”; their menu has great variety, excellent prices and very pleasant staff. They also have delivery service which is a big hit in this area. I think one of the things that impress my husband and I most about Mathews Grill is the consistency in quality. Having come from a restaurant family, I am aware that achieving consistency in the restaurant business is a mark of excellence.
