It has been easy to forget what we share in common: our love of freedom, living under the principles set forth in our Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights.
Over the past nearly 250 years, we have fought to extend our freedoms for all citizens. Now we are asked to support the principles of liberty, freedom and due process for future generations.
May your vote this November keep our nation together, and may we continue to work toward compromise and consensus building through statesmanship and bipartisanship to make our democracy even stronger.
