Leslie E. Beliles, 76, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012.
He was the son of Leslie and Hazel (nee Weems) Beliles, born July 19, 1935 in Louisville, Ky.
Leslie served for 10 years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked with his wife and sons Leslie and Chris as the owner-operator of several fuel oil distributing companies in Chesapeake, Va., and northeastern N.C.
Leslie will be greatly missed by his wife of 37 years, Kay Layden Beliles; children, Carla (Don) Boucher of Chesapeake, Va., Rhonda Sykes-Moy (Jimmy) of Seneca, S.C., Leslie (Marie) Beliles of Chesapeake, Kim Marshall Leyba (Glenn) of Mathews, Va., Christopher (Lisa) Marshall of Maple, N.C. and Scott (Cindy) Marshall of Nags Head, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; cousin/brothers, Richard Beliles and Bob Beliles, and sisters, Faye Miller and Joyce Fife.
A celebration of Les’s life will be on Saturday, March 31, 2012.
