A funeral service for Leonard D. “Redball” Jackson of Gloucester, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, in Saint Paul Baptist Church, Gloucester. He died Feb. 6, 2015.

A native of Gloucester County, he attended Thomas C. Walker School and played on the Gloucester All Star baseball team.

Survivors include his daughter, Yachica Whiting; siblings, Alphonso Jackson, Bernice Jackson, Ruby Gray, Elder Larry Gray, Donnie Jackson, Audrey Booker, James Gray, Mary Jackson, Linda Pusey, Scotty Jackson, Tony Jackson, and Victoria Pryor; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Jackson will lie in state from noon until service time on Saturday in the church.
