Lena Weisman to lead Main Street organization

Lena Weisman has been officially named the executive director of Gloucester Main Street. She has been at Main Street for six months of “dedicated leadership” according to a press release, and at 25 is the youngest executive director in the organization’s 20 years.
Weisman has already made a meaningful impact, expanding the organization’s capacity to revitalize Main Street and strengthen the local community, the release said.
With a personal approach, Weisman has prioritized building strong relationships with business owners, visitors, shoppers, property owners, and local leaders, said the release, adding, “Her deep commitment to understanding and uplifting the community ensures that Gloucester Main Street’s work is not just about economic growth but about improving the everyday lives and experiences of everyone in the district.”
