Lebanon Baptist Church, Saluda, will hold a musical program at 5 p.m. Saturday. The program will consist of various choirs, male choruses, and soloists from Richmond, Williamsburg, Gloucester, Middlesex and many of the other surrounding counties. The concert is free to everyone and is a community unity event.
Dr. Teresa Sutherlin is hosting the event to raise money to increase the reward money for the Reggie Carter Fund. Carter, 61, of Remlik, was reported missing by a family member on May 24 and has not been seen since.
The goal is to increase the present fund to $10,000. Any choir or musical groups interested in participating are invited to come. You can call Dr. Sutherlin at 804-833-1619 to register in advance.
Anyone that desires to make a donation is asked to send it to Lebanon Baptist Church, P.O. Box 404, Saluda, Va. 23149. Make all checks payable to the Reggie Carter Fund. There is also a fund set up at the Sona Bank in Middlesex.
