Lawn party will benefit Salem Church

There will be a lawn party given by the Sunbeam Society on Tuesday night, June 29, on Miss Louise Hudgins’s lawn, which will be beautifully decorated with Japanese lanterns, and refreshment will be served on the lawn. Miss Hudgins’s lawn is near Diggs P.O. Come everybody. The money raised will be for the benefit of Salem Church.

Wicomico: Miss Nellie Hogg left Sunday for Charlottesville, where she will attend the summer session of the normal school.
Miss Katherine Muse has returned from a trip to Norfolk and Baltimore.
Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lewis and Miss Ada Wright motored up from Portsmouth and spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. I.S. Wright.
Miss Mamie D. Hogg spent Sunday in West Point.
