There will be a lawn party at Mr. Cornelius Hughes’s old home on Wednesday night, May 26, for the benefit of Trinity Church. If Wednesday night be bad the lawn party will be held on the next fair night. The Ladies of the church have prepared an interesting program in which they will be assisted by Mr. C.A. Mitchell, of Baltimore, well known here to be a musician of great ability. Let everybody come.

In news from Mobjack, Mr. Campbell will soon complete his new store.
Our little town is becoming very progressive. Several new buildings are being erected.
The smallpox scare is about over; no new cases reported. We hope many of the people have been vaccinated against this.
