Laura Lynn McCraw Sibley, 77, passed away on July 10, 2023. She was a resident of French Settlement, Louisiana.

She was employed by Springfield High School in Livingston Parish, Louisiana, as a cafeteria cook from 1975-1996. From 1996 until she retired in 2010, she was a towboat cook on the John M. Donnelly traversing the Mississippi River
She is survived by a son, Eddie Smith (Regina) of Gloucester; daughter and caregiver, Marie Dervaloy (Curtis) of French Settlement; son, Kevlin Sibley of Killian, Louisiana; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sumter Bennington McCraw and Irene Gordon Spencer McCraw; brother, Sumter Bennington McCraw Jr.; sister, Carol Gordon McCraw Bulger and son, Willie Elmo Coleman Jr.
