Laura Lee Sorrell O’Neill, age 47, of Cobbs Creek, Va., passed away on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014.

 

Laura was in the U.S. Navy for two years, where she met her husband Mark. They were married in Mathews County where they resided.

 

Laura is survived by her husband, Mark Evans O’Neill; her parents, Carl Sorrell and Janet Purinton; her siblings, Amy Torre and Andrew Sorrell, and her grandmother, Willamina Ferguson.

 

The family received friends on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, from 1-2 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. A graveside service followed at 2:30 in Windsor Garden Cemetery, Dutton, Va.
