Laura Ellen Marsh, 84, of North, Virginia, passed on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. She resided in Mathews County, Virginia. She was born on August 28, 1939 in Gloucester, Virginia. Laura warmed all of our hearts with love, character, grace, and compassion for people. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, sisters, brother, family and friends.

A Wake/Visitation will be held at Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, 7437 Buckley Hall Road, Hudgins, Virginia, on July 19, 2024 from 4-7 p.m. Family members will receive friends at the visitation from 6-7.

Services will be held on July 20, 2024 from 1-2:15 p.m. at Rising Valley Baptist Church, 10172 John Clayton Memorial Highway, Gloucester, Virginia 23061.

Burial will be held on July 22, 2024, from 11 a.m.-noon at Windsor Gardens Cemetery, Dutton, Virginia 23050.
