The Langley for Families Foundation approved $76,000 in grants to eight local agencies on the front lines helping individuals and families affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

Grants were awarded to the American Red Cross of Coastal Virginia, the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, LGBT Life Center, Peninsula Rescue Mission, ForKids, Inc., Williamsburg House of Mercy, The Doorways, and Samaritan House.

Langley for Families is the charitable arm of Langley Federal Credit Union. Founded in 1936, Langley FCU is a federally chartered credit union. It has 19 branches, including a location in Hayes.
