A Labyrinth Memorial Walk will be held at the Kingston Parish Community Labyrinth, located at the parish house on Main Street in Mathews, from 5-7 p.m. Sunday.
A release said the public is invited to walk the labyrinth’s lighted path that evening in memory of loved ones lost recently or long ago.
According to the parish, the loved ones “can be present in your memories as you follow the path to the labyrinth’s center, a sacred place for reflection and gratitude. There, you may stay as long as you like before tracing your steps back to the entrance.”
Those who might find it difficult to walk the labyrinth are also welcome and may reflect and pray on benches placed beside the labyrinth. Visitors are encouraged to begin their walk at least 30 minutes before closing time, the release said.
