The RAL Art Center is holding its 62nd Annual Labor Day Art Show which began Aug. 30 and runs through Sept. 23 at 19 N. Main Street, Kilmarnock.
More than 137 pieces of art and 33 prints, most of which have never been on display before, are on display and available for purchase. The show is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., as well as the Sunday and Monday of Labor Day weekend to accommodate visitors celebrating the end of summer, said a press release.
The Labor Day Art Show is one of the longest-standing visual arts shows in Virginia, said the release. It has been held in a variety of venues over its 62-year history, moving to the RAL Art Center in 2014.
The Co-Op Gallery will be transformed into the Labor Day Art Show, said the release, so the Co-Op artists will each exhibit one piece of their work in the Jane Stouffer Exhibit Room. This special exhibit will take place concurrently with the LDAS.
