The King and Queen Courthouse Tavern Museum will hold its annual Holiday Open House on Sunday, Dec. 8, starting at 2 p.m. The museum is located at 146 Court House Landing Road, King and Queen Court House.
There will be children’s activities, including decorating gingerbread cookies, and a visit from Santa Claus and the Fossil Man. Enjoy food, shopping and exhibits. The “America 250! Quilt,” created by the local chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, will be on display.
Stroll the grounds around the Tavern and view the new “parklike” signage that tells the story of the Courthouse Green Historic District. Stay for the King and Queen County tree lighting at 5 p.m.
