The Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer League played the Virginia Spartans Sunday, where the Gloucester Knights 12U team beat its opponent, 24-0. The game was held at the old Page Middle School site.
The Knights were led offensively by Tyrell Daisy who had 48 rushing yards, 83 passing yards and one touchdown. Aliyah Cook had 79 yards and one touchdown and Durrall Daisy had 63 yards for one touchdown and 83 receiving yards for one touchdown.
Defense was led by Ethan Stotts who had five tackles and a fumble recovery. Anthony Starks, Declan Schneider, Zyeir Williams, Isaiah Davenport and Mason Niblett all had three tackles each. Williams had one sack.
