The Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer League Knights 8U team defeated the Community Broncos Saturday.Michael Smith had a 65-yard kickoff return, quarterback Ezekiel Gray threw 48 yards and added an extra point with a well-timed run and Adorian Lee scored a safety and delivered a 60-yard return.
Peyton Hollins was named most spirited and Emmalee Nichols had the best technique for the 8U cheer team, which is captained by Haley Head and Kinslie Meade.
For 10U/12U cheer, Lacy Coates was named most spirited and Mena Glass had the best technique.
