Mark Klyczek, president and CEO of Walter Reed Nursing and Rehabilitation Center’s parent company, Virginia Health Services, was recently selected by the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living as a future leader in long-term and post-acute care.
As one of 39 future leaders selected nationwide, Klyczek will participate in AHCA/NCAL’s Future Leaders program, which provides yearlong training and mentorship for professionals in long-term and post-acute care, said a press release.
Klyczek has more than 25 years of health care experience, said the release. He started with VHS in January 2020, and since then, VHS has established a registered apprenticeship program, opened a Dialysis Den in partnership with DaVita at Coliseum Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and improved quality care scores.
