Ann Gentry recently was named Kiwanian of the Year for her work in support of Gloucester Kiwanis Club fundraising, according to a release from the civic club. She has served as the chairperson for the Gloucester Kiwanis Club’s Head Start activities, chairperson for the VIMS Day fundraiser each year and she sold more than $700 in tickets for this year’s annual spaghetti dinner. Gentry retired in 2007 after serving 36 years with Gloucester Circuit Court, including the last eight as clerk.
