King’s Daughters

James Luck, center, director of the Gloucester Boys and Girls Club, spoke at the Nov. 12 meeting of the York River Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons, held at Bethany United Methodist Church, Gloucester Point. Luck, shown with circle president Vicki Wolz, left, and vice president Sandra Harvey, told those present that the Gloucester Boys and Girls Club, established in 2001, serves 60 children ages 6-12 years in its after-school program and has a summer camp for 120 children. In addition, several children attend the annual Cal Ripken Sr. baseball camp.
