Kilmarnock author Susan Robertson has been writing for years, but just recently published her first novel, “Cold As Ice,” which is planned to be the first in a romance/mystery series.
Robertson began writing over a decade ago and finally decided the series that begins with “Cold As Ice” was good enough to submit because of encouragement from so many people she’d asked to read the series, a release stated.
Each story in the series came to her from listening to the song lyrics that the titles are based upon. “Cold As Ice” will be followed by “Gold Dust Woman,” then “Killing Me Softly,” followed by “Black Hole Sun,” and then “After The Hurricane.” When not writing, Robertson works as the classified advertising manager at the Rappahannock Record.
