Art by summer camp and community outreach participants will be on display at the Kids’ Art Show from 3-6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, at the Bay School Community Arts Center, Main Street, Mathews. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served.
The work featured was created over the past several months by kids attending the Free Weeks of Art and community outreach programs throughout Mathews County. This year, each camp had its own theme, ranging from “Mathews Myths & Legends” to “Mermaids and Paper
Mache.”
This year’s Free Weeks of Art program was funded by the Moss on the Chesapeake Chapter of the Moss Society, Dominion Energy, the Virginia Commission for the Arts, and donations from a number of community supporters.
