Kenneth Duane Gaskins, 79, Hayes, died Nov. 15, 2011 at his home with family at his side.

He was a retired instructor at Fort Eustis Transportation School.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Betty Fanning-Gaskins; daughter, Margaret Bridges and husband Martin; son, Kenneth D. Gaskins Jr. and wife Marsha; and daughters, Melinda Ottarson and husband Donnie, Gail Brown and husband Kenneth, Betsy West and husband Jessie; grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church.

Interment will be later in West Virginia.
