More than a dozen youth took part in the 2014 Kids Kayak and Conservation Camp sponsored by the Mathews Maritime Foundation and Mobjack Kayaking. Campers enjoyed land-based activities at the West Mathews Community Center in Bohannon and water-based activities from a private shoreline on the East River.
