Kathryn Luise O’Mary Boone, 68, of Gloucester, died at her home on September 23, 2024. She was born on November 13, 1955, in Maryland to the late Hollie O’Mary and Charlotte Luise Ott O’Mary. She graduated from Riverside School of Nursing and chose to specialize in the NICU field, where she worked for 23 years. Kathryn was a selfless, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put her family first. She is survived by her husband, John H. Boone; children, John Leonard (Jenny), Kristina Leonard, Mark David Leonard, Arianna Kathryn Boone; step-children, Ashley Williams (Bobby) and Allison Boone; brother, David P. O’Mary; and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2024, at Bellamy United Methodist Church Cemetery, 4870 Chestnut Fork Road, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
