Katherine Jordan Fenstermacher, 89, of Gloucester Point, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 25, 2012.
Daughter of William and Zela Jordan, she was a long-time member of Bethany United Methodist Church, where she sang in the church choir for 77 years, having joined when she was 12 years old.
She loved to do crossword puzzles, needlework, shop, play golf, and spend time with her family and dear friends. She will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert "Red" Jordan.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harold; two sons, William and his wife Ruth, and Scott and his wife Perrien; four grandchildren, Ashley and her husband Rick, Katherine, Phillip, and Douglas; sister-in-law, Katherine Jordan, and many extended family members in the area.
Funeral services conducted by the Rev. Arthur L. Wolz Jr. were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Bethany United Methodist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends and loved ones Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
