The Mathews High School JV volleyball team fell to King and Queen Central, 2-0, in a road game Tuesday.
In spite of the loss, Mathews played a great game. Vanessa Boyd, and Delaney Boatman both had a kill with sneaky tips. Kaitlyn Ball and Mya Schroeder each served a pair of aces. In the first set, Harmony Smith had five consecutive serves, including three aces. Marley Brock also served an ace.
The JV Lady Blue Devils will travel to King William next Tuesday to take on the Lady Cavaliers.
