JV field hockey at 3-0

The junior varsity field hockey players at Gloucester High School are at 3-0 after their shutout at Yorktown last Thursday. The mercy rule was called after the Dukes had scored six goals against the Falcons.
Defender Emma Kadel scored on a penalty corner to give the Dukes the first lead. Goals were later scored by Peyton Sutton, Chloe West, Caroline Klink, Kaylee Hall and Mason Welsh.
First-year coach Alexis Lester selected MaKayla Clark and Klink as the MVPs of the game due to their aggression and performance on the field.
