Judy Ann White, 81, of Foster, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Judy was born in North Carolina, and was the youngest of 10 children. She loved being a homemaker, was an excellent cook, and loved feeding and caring for people. She loved singing country music. Judy worked at North Star Mart for many years. She also worked at the Mathews Convalescent Center and helped her husband with his trucking and crabbing business. Her love language was “giving.” Deeply devoted to her family, her nieces and nephews (all 81 of them), and her twin sisters, they could tell stories for hours. During her son’s deployment in the Army and National Guard, she volunteered to serve in the Family Readiness Group, fed the unit in West Point lunch, and sent care packages to the troops.
She was predeceased by her son, Richard Coulby.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Donald White; her sons, Joseph Coulby and David Coulby (Pam), and her daughter, Catherine Stoner (Dave); her stepchildren, Donald White Jr. (Lynn), Teresa Machen (Chuck), William White (Pam), Arlene Smith, and Phyllis Fleming (Jimmy).
