Judith’s love of gardening was evident in her home’s surroundings. Not only did she possess an encyclopedic knowledge of plants and flowers, but her garden was a true reflection of her vibrant spirit and appreciation of nature’s beauty.
An avid genealogist, Judith dedicated countless hours to uncovering the stories of her ancestors. Her passion for genealogy was matched only by her enthusiasm in sharing her discoveries with her family and friends.
Judith was a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). Her involvement in the organization reflected her deep respect for history and commitment to preserving the legacy of those who came before her. Through her work with the DAR, Judith contributed to her community and honored her family’s heritage with grace and dedication.
The family wishes to thank the people at The Newport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their generous care. A special thank-you to Judith’s friend and neighbor Karla Homick for her unwavering support and friendship.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the local community garden or to the Daughters of the American Revolution in honor of Judith’s passions and contributions.
